CTR 3010 PANEL An adjustable metal formwork for curved applications
EGDC is currently building a 13.50m high tank for water storage at Aytré (17) near La Rochelle, using the CTR 3010 formwork by SATECO.
BUILDING SITE DESCRIPTION
- The curved formwork is made up of 3 parts consisting of a 1.50m lower extension and 4 standard 3m panels, overall height 13.50m.
- This tool is manufactured from Standard Sateco formwork. The 5mm thick metal formwork of the CTR 3010 panel offers a better concrete finish in addition to fast and highly accurate vertical assembly.
- The complete equipment is assembled on the ground and then lifted in a single operation. The formwork tool allows smooth self-compacting concrete casting of any height.
- The circumference of the tank is totally reinforced with an internal brace made up of scaffolding which also provides a working board.
- The specific layout of this tank requires 4 primary castings linearly spaced with formwork tools ensuring the stability and safety of the iron assembly.
- Finally, when casting resumed, the EGDC Company used hydro expansive joint ribbon to seal the successive castings of the construction.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BUILDING SITE
- Tank circumference: 70 m
- Casting height: 13.50 m (single lift)
- Wall thickness: 40 cm
- Casting phases: 8 casts
