First steps in the steel formwork industry



  • SATECO « Société Africaine de Transports et d’Exploitation de Containers » founded in Morroco (Casablanca).
  • SATECO is transferred to France (Paris).
  • SATECO takes formwork licence (BAJAC) and begins its building industry activity.
  • Creation of the R2 panel. (first formwork on the market with 3mm thick steel or perforated steel + plywood; patent registered).

SATECO in a few dates



1953 Creation of SATECO in MORROCO.
1960 SATECO transferred to France. Formwork marketing begins.
1971 Creation of the production factory.
Mecano-welding sub contracting begins.
1990 Creation of the « Services » department.
1994 ISO 9001 certification.
1999 Creation of the « Services » factory.
2002 High tech equipment for the production line (2 laser cutters – 2 welding robots).
2007 Enlargement of the Mirebeau production unit (4000 sqm).
2009 Automation and robotization of the formwork production lines.
